The Purpose of the Million Prayer Warriors
The purpose of the Million Prayer Warriors is to motivate and encourage over one million Christians from NBCI 150,000 Black churches to fulfill Christ's commandment that we should pray for one another-- for the sake of the unity of the Christian church. Here are some scriptures that justify us creating the million prayer warriors.

The Essence of Prayer
Prayer is one's personal and private time spent talking to our God, our heavenly Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a sacred time spent with God.
1 Timothy 2:1 ESV First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
As a Christian, we know that God can supply all our needs. This is the time when you can pour out your heart and soul to God. It is the time when you thank God for His goodness, blessings, mercies, grace, forgiveness, life, and his deep love for us. It is also the time when you can make any requests known to God. You know that you can trust our Lord and Savior to grant all our requests, knowing in your heart that he loves you unconditionally. God willingly gave up His Son Jesus' life on the cross despite all our faults and sins. For this reason alone, we must thank, love, trust, praise, and believe in God the Father and His Son Jesus, the Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.
Philippians 4:6 ESV Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

The Prayer of Jabez is a four-part petition found in 1 Chronicles 4:10. It asks for God's abundant blessing, an expansion of influence or territory, divine guidance and presence, and protection from harm. God granted the request, demonstrating His willingness to answer sincere, humble prayers for spiritual and personal growth. [1, 2, 3]
Core Meaning and Breakdown
The prayer consists of four specific requests:
- "Oh, that you would bless me indeed!" A plea for God's grace, acknowledging Him as the ultimate source of all goodness.
- "And enlarge my territory." A request for greater opportunity, influence, and capacity to serve God and others.
- "That Your hand would be with me." A desire for God's daily companionship, strength, and active guidance.
- "That You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" A plea for protection against the power of temptation, and a desire to avoid causing suffering to others. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
